Overlapping duties, it is easy to see why confusion between reading specialists and literacy coaches may occur. To make the distinctions easier, Table 1 outlines these differences. Many individuals perform the tasks of both reading specialists and literacy coaches, either because they have a divided job, such as 50% reading specialist.
